Born in southeast Kansas and raised in St. Paul, Kraig Westhoff has dedicated his career to education and innovating the way history is taught. A graduate of Pittsburg State University, Kraig has been an educator since 2013, inspiring countless students with his passion for learning and storytelling.Kraig's deep connection to Kansas led him to create a widely recognized platform that celebrates the history of the Sunflower State and its 105 counties. Through this initiative, he has brought Kansas history to life, engaging communities and fostering a renewed appreciation for the state’s rich heritage.His efforts have not gone unnoticed. Kraig has been honored with a commendation from the Kansas State Legislature for his contributions to historical education, a testament to his impact on the field of history and his commitment to sharing Kansas's unique story with the world.Kraig Westhoff continues to be a prominent voice for Kansas history, blending education, research, and storytelling to ensure the past remains an integral part of the present and future.
