The Pandora's Box of AI is open, and learning to use it well and properly in the classroom will be a vital objective in helping make our students as "future ready" as possible! Much like we had to learn how to use search engines well, the same is needed with AI usage through something called prompt engineering. The goal of this session is to equip K-12 educators with foundational skills in prompt engineering for AI applications, with a focus on creating effective, educationally relevant AI interactions. We will cover the basics of prompt engineering, its relevance in the classroom, and practical tips to help educators integrate these skills into their teaching practice.
