AI As a Companion in the Language Learner Classroom
Thursday March 6, 2025 12:45pm - 1:30pm CST
Integrating AI technologies can revolutionize language education by providing personalized, interactive learning experiences. AI language tools offer students 24/7 practice opportunities, delivering instant feedback on speaking, grammar, and vocabulary. By guiding students to use AI strategically, educators can transform these tools from potential shortcuts into powerful learning companions. Students will develop critical skills in AI interaction, learning to prompt effectively, verify information, and leverage technology for meaningful language acquisition. This approach not only enhances linguistic competence but also cultivates digital literacy, preparing students for a technology-driven future.
